How to flag messages with reminder in Outlook 2010

         
        you’ve flagged several messages but unless you specify a reminder time yourself, you do not get any reminder at all. The item does not show a “bell” icon either.
How can you automatically set reminders on flagged items?

By default, flagged items will indeed not sound a reminder. To enable this go to;

    * click on “File” highlighted and then select “Options” either from left hand pane or after selecting “Help” tab.


  
    * Now click on “Tasks” option in left hand side of pop window.
    * Under task option: Set reminders on tasks with due dates 

The reminder time that will be set is your default reminder time configured in,

      * Now click on “Tasks” option in left hand side of pop window.
      * Under task option: Default reminder time 


These steps can be followed in Windows XP and Windows 7.
